Sofia Goggia starts again in the summer: her roadmap

Summer of work for the champion, who will be looking for snow in Argentina.

Sofia Goggia aims to take advantage of these months when the activity of great international skiing is at a standstill to regain the best possible conditions. And from Madonna di Campiglio, at the Grand Gala delle Nevi, she outlines her roadmap from now until September.

“Training resumed already some time ago, because it is now since May 10 that the preparation has been underway after the start of the off season,” Sofia Goggia told the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’. “Everything is going well. Clearly the summer is always heavy, but it is right to work a lot now and then to harvest possibly in the winter.”

“I have already done three rallies on the snows of glaciers, two at Stelvio and one in Cervinia. Now on the schedule is another one, then at the end of August we will return to Argentina after two years when we were unable to because of Covid. So it will be nice again to relive the winter a bit in September as well and work in optimal conditions,” concluded a smiling but determined Sofia Goggia.
