Italy’s third medal at the World Fencing Championships Cairo 2022 is men’s.
In fact, after Rossella Fiamingo’s bronze and Arianna Errigo’s silver, a medal also came for Tommaso Marini in the individual foil event.
The 2000-year-old fencer took silver at the end of a great run, during which he was defeated only in the final by France’s Enzo Lefort, gold at Tokyo 2020 in the team event.
Great feat of the athlete from Ancona, at his debut in a rainbow event.
