Grand gesture by Mbappè: the Paris Saint Germain star met Camille, a very young 8-year-old fan suffering from Vacterl syndrome, a set of congenital malformations affecting the left side of the body. Camille, together with her dad, arrived at the Parc des Princes by bicycle, pedaling more than 70 kilometers, obviously spread over several stages.

On arrival there was a huge surprise for the little girl, as recounted by her father: “We expected someone to come and greet us but such a welcome is incredible, far above our hopes. So much emotion, after a lot of effort, is a beautiful reward.” Mbappé personally delivered an autographed full PSG uniform into Camille’s hands.

The French champion and the little girl had exchanged some banter through social media, and Camille had also wished him well on New Year’s Eve: “Happy New Year to you too my little Camille. Keep fighting as you are doing, you are offering a life lesson to all of us,” had been Mbappé’s response.
