Serie B, a Gondo hat trick sinks Palermo: Spal and Modena also ok
Palermo – Ascoli 2-3, Modena -Ternana 4-1 and Spal – Cagliari 1-0 in Saturday’s B evening previews.
Six teams took the field in the evening previews of the third day of the cadet championship.
At the ‘Barbera’ in Palermo, Ascoli hit the jackpot thanks to the extraordinary evening of Cedric Gondo, who scored a hat-trick: the goals came in the 27th minute, in the first half recovery and in the 52nd minute. In between was the momentary equalizer by the usual Brunori, who had deceived the Rosanero, while Segre’s goal in the 63rd minute fixed the result at the final 2-3.
In Ferrara, on the other hand, important affirmation of Spal, which prevailed over Cagliari thanks to a goal by La Mantia in the 37th minute. On the match undoubtedly weighed the expulsion, in the 31′ of the first half, of the red-blue Di Pardo. In the final minutes, the Estensi also remained in 10 due to the red card given to Peda.
In Modena, resounding affirmation of the hosts over Ternana: a round 4-1 that matured as a result of the goals of Diaw, Capuano’s own goal, Falcinelli and Tremolada. The only guest goal, that of the momentary 2-1, was signed by Favilli in the 50th minute.
