Bagnaia, resounding request to Valentino Rossi. The Doctor’s response
Pecco Bagnaia revealed to Sky that he asked Valentino Rossi to coach him
Pecco Bagnaia has asked Valentino Rossi to be his coach in the near future. The Ducati centaur revealed this to Sky’s microphones, “I asked Valentino Rossi to be my coach, but he’s not up to it yet. Let’s see if over time he can help me again. I asked him if he will be able to come to some races, to see me from the outside and cheer for me as a coach, he said when he comes he will help me. Hopefully next year he will come more often, he is good as a coach.”
“In my opinion there are four riders who can really make a difference,” continued the Ducati centaur, “because as rivals they made a difference, bringing some improvements, seeing the track differently: Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo. Stoner and Rossi can be two immense advantages, and so can Dani Pedrosa.”
Valentino Rossi has so far appeared reluctant, but Bagnaia promised he will insist: “If I ever manage to bring Rossi with me as a coach, it would be incredible stuff: Vale is very good in this role because he has always been very analytical about everything, he can see things well, even from home.”
