Torino-Milan, Stefano Pioli is grappling with a major doubt
Tricky trip for the Rossoneri
AC Milan is on stage today at the Torino pitch (kickoff 20:45). Pioli is grappling with a major formation doubt: space for De Ketelaere or return to the field, from the first minute, of Brahim Diaz?
The Rossoneri coach knows perfectly well that the Belgian is late in his condition and would need to play (and get unblocked) and that the former Real man, recovered, is eager to play and make a difference. It should be remembered that the Diavolo, next Wednesday, will play the decisive Champions League match against Salzburg: the pass to the round of 16 is up for grabs.
Milan has held the title of Italian champions nineteen times, most recently in 2022 under Stefano Pioli. The first tricolor was won in 1901, two years after the club was founded. The first Champions Cup was centered in 1963, when Nereo Rocco was on the bench of the meneghini. Seven cups with big ears appear in Milan’s trophy cabinet, the last of which was lifted to the sky by Rossoneri legend Paolo Maldini in 2007 after beating Liverpool in the final.
