The final roster available to the Azzurro coaching staff is taking shape ahead of the two matches in the second window of the second phase of qualification for the 2023 World Cup, the World Cup to be played between Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines next summer.
As expected, Paul Biligha, Giampaolo Ricci, Tommaso Baldasso and Alessandro Pajola joined the team today. Stefano Tonut will not reach the gathering due to an injury he sustained last night during the Euroleague game against Virtus Bologna.
Matteo Spagnolo, on the other hand, was cleared to leave the Pesaro gathering due to a muscle soreness he sustained during last Sunday’s game against Verona.
