MotoGp, important recognition coming for Pecco Bagnaia
The Ducati centaur will receive an important award
Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia, Ducati centaur and fresh MotoGp world champion, is preparing to receive an important award.
The Italian rider, who was born in Turin but resides in Pesaro, will be named a meritorious citizen of the Marche capital.
In words reported by ‘FormulaPassion,’ Pesaro Mayor Matteo Ricci had his say on the matter: “We all cheered for his extraordinary victory that brought Italian motorcycling back to the roof of the world after so many years. Bagnaia is a great talent, who grew up under the guidance of the greatest ever, Valentino Rossi, in our territory that confirms itself as the Land of Riders and Engines. Citizenship is the right recognition for a champion who has chosen to live in Pesaro, and it is a way to further strengthen our communication and tourism strategy for the city.”
