Torino studies coup from La Liga for an outfielder
Ahead of the winter soccer session, Torino is studying a swoop from La Liga for an outside defender on the left lane. As reported by Tuttosport, Sporting Director Davide Vagnati has reportedly set his eyes on the young Spanish talent Jesus Vazquez, a defender born in 2003, who is a member of Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia team. There is also strong interest in the player from Inter Milan, who are looking for a left-sided flanker if Robin Gosens were to leave.
The Granata club, however, seems to be ahead of the Nerazzurri, having already made an initial proposal to the club based on the formula of a loan with right of redemption given that the price of the player’s card is quite onerous: about 4.5 million. Vazquez has so far collected 4 appearances with Valencia, of which only two as a starter although Gattuso believes a lot in the youngster’s qualities and it is not so obvious that he will make him leave.
