Former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has rejected Ferrari’s strategy
Former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg was very hard on Ferrari after the Maranello-based team chose to part ways with Mattia Binotto: “I know that in Formula 1 continuity is a value. I know that Mercedes and Red Bull have not changed most of the key people for ten years or more. And that’s what Ferrari lacks,” are the words to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“That of team principal is one of the most difficult jobs in the world. It will be hard for Ferrari. Because it’s not like there are a lot of people in the market who are up to it. That role is complicated everywhere, there much more because you have incredible pressure. But let’s see what solution they find.”
Rosberg remains edgy with the Rossa even when talking about 2023: “If I were a driver and I could choose the team to race in I would go Red Bull, to be on the safe side … or Ferrari, because it has a unique appeal, because it’s the Rossa. But not to hope to win….”
