Genoa, a former Juventus man pops up for the sash
Genoa is looking for Pajac’s replacement
Genoa’s management is continuing to probe various market avenues ahead of the January window, particularly to find Marko Pajac’s replacement. In fact, the Croatian left back injured his ACL in October and will be out for a few more months.
Rossoblù sporting director Marco Ottolini is intent on giving the first reinforcement to coach Alberto Gilardino, who has so far collected seven points in the first three games on the bench of the Genoese club.
The latest name for the wing is that of a former Juventus player, currently in Serie B with the Cosenza jersey: it is the class of 2001 Paolo Gozzi. The profile of the defender, who has also played in Spain in his career with the Fuenlabrada jersey, would be a good replacement while waiting for Pajac’s return, and what’s more, the Calabrian club could release him at no cost.
