Olimpia Milano, Ettore Messina fears a new absence
There is a risk of another absence against Monaco
Olimpia Milano, after regaining victory in the Euroleague at the end of a cycle of nine consecutive losses, wants to extend the positive streak that began with the success over Red Star. The meneghini will face off against the Monaco of former great Mike James, in the challenge valid for the 15th day of the top continental competition.
Ettore Messina, however, in addition to not being able to count on the usual Shavon Shields and Kevin Pangos, may have to deal with a new absence, heavy especially in offensive terms: it is the newly arrived Luwawu-Cabarrot, who in this very first part of his adventure with the Red Shoes, is scoring 9.5 points per game on average.
“Unfortunately, to the usual absences was added the flu of Luwawu-Cabarrot, who has been in bed since Sunday night and whose use will be decided only after the game,” the words of the Milan coach in the press conference. The match is scheduled at the Assago Forum at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 23.
