Marc Marquez reveals a backstory on relationship with Valentino Rossi

Marc Marquez, during the presentation of a docuseries that will feature him starting next week on Prime Video, returned to talk about his relationship with Valentino Rossi, confirming tensions during and after the 2015 World Championship and revealing a backstory related to three years later.

“In the docu-series we also talk about Valentino Rossi,” Marquez said, “it’s a topic you can’t ignore. We talk about him as we talk about Lorenzo and Pedrosa. We tell what happened in 2015 and confirm that, now, one goes right and the other goes left.”

Yet, in 2018, the two multiple MotoGp champions had become closer, as the number 93 himself tells revealing a backstory: “After the death of Luis Salom at Montmeló we had reconnected, the relationship had become cordial again – he explained. But then came the Argentine GP. I made a mistake, entered the corner wrong and hit him, but I also accepted the penalty, admitted the mistake and apologized. He, however, attacked me harshly, said things that were not nice: then I told myself I didn’t want to know any more about it.”
