Inter-Juve controversy, Gennaro Gattuso is drastic
The former AC Milan midfielder commented on the controversy following the Italian derby
Gennaro Gattuso at the microphones of Radio Rai had his say on the controversy following the Italy derby: “The referees told us that if the arm is raised there is a foul, if the arm is in the correct position there is no foul. You have to trust who is on Var and who has to take the position. If you review it 100 times you don’t understand if it is a hand foul or not. Whoever made the decision made that decision. But as long as there is no trust in those who referee, there will always be this controversy.”
The Calabrian coach after his farewell to Valencia hopes to return to coaching in Italy: “I like to see all soccer, I am a very curious one. I have to feel confidence and if you can work in the right way, which does not mean in tranquility. Serie A in the last two or three years has become very competitive. You don’t do soccer that waits anymore, the results in Europe are no accident. I would love to return to Italy, but let’s see.”
