Tense atmosphere at the Yamaha factory after a difficult start to the World Championship in Portugal. Fabio Quartararo in Portimao finished in the back of the pack, and he did not hide his annoyance, including towards teammate Franco Morbidelli, who finished 18 seconds behind him.

“We are still too far behind in terms of speed,” the Frenchman explained, “and to make an overtake is impossible, so we will have to find a solution on how to use our bike. Yamaha has no satellite teams this season and Quartararo has no reference points: “It’s hard to know what we can do. Today I was behind all the constructors and we have the same problem with everyone. We have a lot of potential, we can be fast but we can’t fight and stay with them.”
