Jorge Lorenzo makes a confession about Ducati and Marc Marquez
Jorge Lorenzo: “Imagine what I could have done with this Ducati … Marc Marquez doesn’t stand a chance.”
Former MotoGp centaur Jorge Lorenzo in an interview with Marca spoke about Ducati’s dominance in the premier class of MotoGP: “They are superior and they have eight riders: if Bagnaia doesn’t win there’s Bastianini, if Martin doesn’t win there’s Bezzecchi…”
The Mallorcan rider admits one regret: “Maybe I would still be active if I had continued in Ducati, the bike was going strong then but it didn’t turn well in the corners, but we managed to fine-tune it and in 2018 it started to win. With the current bike, imagine what I could have done … then with Dall’Igna there was a lot of harmony. I could have dueled with Marc Marquez.”
To proposed of the Catalan rider, “Now he can’t do anything, not even Marquez, if your bike is a second behind you have no chance to win.”
