The two matches valid for the Play-in were staged in the night. In the West, the Lakers won in overtime over Minnesota thanks to 30 points by LeBron James (108-102). Night to forget for Anthony Edwards who ended the game with 9 points and 3/17 from the field.

In the East, however, it was the Hawks who clinched the seventh playoff spot against Miami (116-105). In the Heat ranks, Kyle Lowry’s 33 points off the bench were of little use.

Atlanta will take on Boston on Saturday, April 15, while the Yellowviola take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night, April 16. Conversely, the Heat and T’wolves are expected to play-off for eighth place against one between Chicago and Toronto and Oklahoma City and New Orleans, respectively.
