Inter in trouble, Chelsea decided: no loan for Lukaku
Inter’s plan to get him back on loan has foundered
No deal. Lukaku will not return to Inter on a loan deal. Chelsea has decided that there will be no more room for another Big Rom loan. The Blues, in order to let Big Rom go, want only cash: 40 million euros is the exact figure to let Lukaku leave and, therefore, sell him permanently.
Inter Milan, at the moment, certainly cannot afford such an expense. In order to think about investing such an amount on the Belgian striker, a major disposal would be needed. Otherwise, impossible to think about Lukaku’s third return (there would also already be a plan B: Morata).
A situation that could favor Milan, which is thinking seriously about Lukaku. The Diavolo, with the sale of Tonali, would have the strength to sit at the table with Chelsea and find an economic agreement. Finally, there would also be the Saudi Arabia option but, at least for now, Lukaku still thinks he can play with the Nerazzurri jersey next season.
