Juventus, Adrien Rabiot no-nonsense about Massimiliano Allegri
Juventus, Adrien Rabiot sheds light on his decision
Just days before leaving for the U.S. tour, the Juventus midfielder spoke to the club’s “Twitch” channel about his decision to renew his contract and his feelings about the upcoming season.
“The coach really wanted me to stay, he talked to me a lot this year to make me stay at Juve. Even on vacation he sent me many messages, so first and foremost he and then my teammates were instrumental in my decision to stay. I talked to Manna and Cherubini and the rest of the staff. They showed me a lot of affection. I took all the variables into consideration in my choice, including the European Championship,” the French midfielder began.
“Last season I scored a lot of goals and that’s something I like. As I’ve always said, I also had a good season two years ago-I played a lot, only the number of goals and assists changes. I experience soccer in a different way, as the priority is to help the team. I know I still have a huge potential and I have to be able to express it to the best of my ability in the coming season,” added the former PSG player.
Next, Rabiot commented on the newly acquired bianconeri Timothy Weah: “I have already spoken with him. We work hard here to always improve and win. He is good and is ready to give everything. All young people have to understand what it means to play for Juventus. Between us we speak in French, but at the same time, I’m giving him a hand with Italian, because the coach doesn’t speak English. For me at the beginning it was a bit difficult, however, now I understand him better.”
