È Turkey is Italy's opponent in the semifinals of the women’s volleyball European Championships to be played Friday in Brussels.
Today, the Turkish girls coached by Italian coach Daniele Santarelli defeated Poland 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-18) in the quarterfinal match.
The one between Italy and Turkey will be the first of the two semifinals of the women’s European Championships and is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1.
Considering that Italy-Serbia of the men’s competition will also be played in the evening, in order to avoid overlap the Fipav (which would have been solicited by television broadcasters) asked and obtained to play at 5 p.m.
