Figc president Gabriele Gravina on the eve of the European Court of Justice ruling on Uefa's monopoly and the legitimacy of the Superleague warned possible "rebellious" clubs: "We were the only federation that took a very clear position: we are totally against it, there is a federal rule that those who join that world will leave the federal system of football".
"We cannot prevent membership, which remains free, but it is unthinkable to play two or three championships within a series of organizations. We are already fighting internally about the dates available on the championship, you can imagine what would happen if we added another championship. I have to safeguard the brand of Italian soccer and you have to know what you are up against", are the words reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Federal Council unanimously approved the new 2024/25 national licensing system. Specifically è it provides for "a total market freeze for those who fail to meet the liquidity ratio (now at 0.7) and for those who adhere to debt restructuring and the instruments recognized by the Code for Business Crisis until there'è the final approval by the court. It begins to go into the’view of a’business’linked to compliance between value of production and labor costs".
Registration for the championships è has been set for June 4: "Thanks to the cooperation of the sports justice bodies the hope è that by the end of July, should there be appeals, all procedures will be exhausted".
