San Siro renovation study to be delivered in three months
San Siro, study on renovation to be delivered in three months
A feasibility study on the renovation of San Siro to be delivered in three months. É this is one of the outcomes of the meeting that was held this morning in the Milan City Hall headquarters between Mayor Giuseppe Sala and the top management of Milan and Inter, Alessandro Antonello, Inter's ad, and Paolo Scaroni, Ac Milan president.
The participants decided to embark on this path with Webuild spa, which will collaborate pro bono, according to the availability already expressed in a letter, with the drafting of a feasibility study to be delivered in three months. The teams, as the municipality explains, will produce guidelines for a possible renovation leading to the availability of a more modern and efficient stadium.
Downstream of this, the municipality and the teams will check the feasibility and modalities for proceeding. Club representatives reiterated the need for protection of the stadium's possible loss of availability and capacity during the works. The interventions will therefore have to be compatible with the schedule of matches, sporting events and entertainment events, to avoid economic damage, "but above all to maintain an engaging, safe and comfortable experience for spectators and spectators", reads the note from Palazzo Marino.
Urban developments in the San Siro area, particularly its redevelopment, will have to be considered in the project. Binding issue also è that the stadium will have to become owned by the teams. Mayor Giuseppe Sala noted that the teams will continue in the exploration of the alternative possibilities already in place, "with the hope però that the path taken on San Siro will quickly lead to a satisfactory conclusion for all players in the field", concludes the note.
