Zoccante, Biserni and Zenoni the last seasonal kings of Obereggen

Federico Zoccante won the “Shgroll”, freestyle competition for snowboarders and freeskiers staged at the Obereggen International Snowpark in the heart of the Dolomites 20 minutes from Bolzano. Zoccante è was the best overall with the snowbaord board, Maria Biserni è was awarded for the best “Trick” while the best skier “Freeskier” è was Patrick Zanoni.
Good participation in this last event at the tail end of the winter season, which closes its doors in Obereggen and in the Trentino sister resort Predazzo on Sunday, April 7, while in’the other Trentino sister resort, Pampeago, the season will close on Sunday, April 14.
Individual snow structures have been treated as holes on a golf course. To complete the “hole”, the rider had to complete a specific trick on the structure: he è was assigned a score depending on how many attempts he made. In the end, as in golf, Federico Zoccante scored the lowest, having recorded the lowest number of attempts used.
Summer will open its doors on June 8: the imposing Latemar cliff face, the jewel of the Dolomites-Unesco World Heritage Site, will be transformed into the Latemar.ium, a magical network of thematic trails that will allow visitors to expand their knowledge of mountain fauna, flora, geology and agriculture in an unspoiled environment.
