Madrid, Jasmine Paolini is in a hurry: overwhelmed Jimenez Kasintseva

Velvet debut for Jasmine Paolini at the Madrid Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player, in fact, overwhelmed the Andorran Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva, leaving her with only one game. 6-0 6-1 was the score in favor of the Tuscan player, accrued in just one hour of play.

The first set è without history with Paolini taking the lead and accomplice to Jimenez Kasintseva’s numerous errors in a short time she took a 4-0 lead. Only in the sixth game there's a bit of a struggle, but the 6-0 lead comes in favor of the Italian in less than 25 minutes.

The second partial started along the lines of the first, with the Tuscan player quickly taking a two-break lead. Unlike the first set, however, the Andorran manages to give more of a battle to the Italian, who è however, is able to manage the rhythm and close the match on 6-1.

In the next round, Jasmine Paolini will face Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, with whom she è back 1-5 in the previous round (only win in Guangzhou in the final of 2023).
