Lucas himself, shortly after PSG made official the nature of the injury and the outcome of the examinations, had written on Instagram: "When I signed with PSG I promised that I would give my heart and soul to this team and that's what I've been doing ever since. Unfortunately during last night’s game I got injured, I tried to stay on the field to fight with my team but it wasn’t è possible to continue".
"I thank everyone, my fans and loved ones, for the affection and support. I will return stronger than ever" concluded the 1996-born footballer, since this summer at Paris Saint-Germain after four seasons at Bayern Munich and five more in the first team of Atletico Madrid, with whom he also played previously at youth and B team level.
