Gallardo coached River Plate for nine seasons, becoming the most successful coach in the Argentine club's history. With the red and white Gallardo won a whopping fourteen titles, including two Libertadores Cups, as well as being named South American Coach of the Year for three consecutive years (2018 to 2020).
