It looks like tennis but it’s soccer: embarrassment in Poland

15-0, but not è tennis

An embarrassing result. It is difficult to define in any other way what è appeared on the scoreboard at the end of Grodzisk Mazowiecki-Concordia Elblag, a match valid for Group 1 of the Polish Third League: the hosts beat their opponents 15-0.

Grodzisk already certain of promotion to the higher category and Concordia, which è instead relegated, gave life to a non-challenge: the first half è went into the archives on the tennis score of 6-0.

Evidently tennis è a sport appreciated by the players on the field, as in the second half the visiting team conceded nine more goals, without scoring a single one, until the final 15-0.

Five goals scored by Kamil Odolak, doubles for Kacper Sommerfeld and Dawid Dziegielewski. Two were Concordia’s own goals in a day to forget.
