"It's unbelievable. I had already tried in stage 8 and on Sunday in Livigno, where I picked up a third place that tasted like victory. Today I told myself that I could do it and itè happened" began Steinhauser after the triumph.
"It's been a strange stage, we went in a breakaway, got caught, and then I took off again after a few kilometers. I was nervous on the last climb, especially when I heard that Pogacar had attacked. I pushed to the end and made it. I hope it's the beginning of a career full of successes" added the 2001-born German.
