There are only a few days left until the annual appointment with the ‘Briglia d’Oro’, the Siena soccer event promoted by the AIAC, Associazione Allenatori Calcio Section of Siena, which will be held on Monday, July 8 in Siena, at the location Le Volte di Vico Bello (Viale R. Bianchi Bandinelli, 14). 

During the XXXI edition of the football award, the highest award of the evening, the Briglia d’Oro, will go to coach Marco Baroni, coach of Lazio, and a video greeting from Giuseppe Marotta, president and CEO of the sports area of Inter, will be broadcast. The evening will be attended by AIAC National President Prof. Renzo Ulivieri.

Other prizes and awards will be presented during the evening to professionals and coaches in the area who have distinguished themselves for their achievements during the last championship. 

Here is, below, the’list of all the awardees: Francesco Giuntini, Società Casolese, winner of the Women’s Promotion Championship; David Burresi, S. Gimignano, winner Provincial Junior Championship. Special awards to be presented during the event are as follows: U.S. Pianese, Serie D Championship win; Siena F.C., Eccellenza Championship win; Vescovado, historic promotion to the Second Category; Campiglia, Doblete (Championship and Cup) and historic promotion to the Second Category. The Gozzini Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Maurizio Madioni. 

The Golden Microphone will be presented to Filippo Meiattini of Siena TV, for his efforts in popularizing amateur soccer in Siena. Stefano Osti will also be awarded for his historic role in the Sienese sports world. There will also be the traditional handing out, by Sport Siena, of the Ballon d’Oro, to the best player of the 2023/2024 year Bernardo Masini (Siena F.C.) and the Scarpa d’Oro, which will go to the top scorer of all amateur championships Guglielmo Mignani (U.S. Pianese). 

The holding of the event will also be possible thanks to the invaluable support of the now historic sponsors of the evening, including the main sponsor Stosa Cucine, with its president Maurizio Sani, and the companies Banfi, Corsini and Fusi&Fusi.
The evening will be presented by TV host Giorgia Rossi and journalist Giovanni D’Agostino.
