Paris 2024, here is Italy's Athletics

There will be 76 (39 men and 37 women) athletes representing Italy's Athletics at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which will begin July 26 and end Aug. 11. After winning five gold medals at Tokyo 2020 and dominating the European Championships in Rome, the Azzurri are ready to be protagonists on French soil as well.

The list of summoned è was issued by technical director Antonio La Torre and includes among others, all seven Tokyo Olympic champions, Marcell Jacobs and Gianmarco Tamberi above all. Also ready in the various relays are Filippo Tortu, Chituru Ali and Lorenzo Patta. Among women, however, eyes are on Larissa Iapichino (long jump), Nadia Battocletti (5,000 and 10,000 meters) and Antonella Palmisano (20km march).
