Alex Marquez: Jorge Martin disagrees with Pecco Bagnaia
Bagnaia crash: Jorge Martin exonerates Alex Marquez
Controversy rages in MotoGp between Pecco Bagnaia and the Marquez brothers after the contact and crash between the world champion and Alex in the final laps of the Aragon Grand Prix. The incident aggravated the negative balance of the weekend for the reigning MotoGp champion, who after the race harshly blamed Alex Marquez for what happened.
The Spanish rider responded in kind, and a rift was created in Ducati, with Marc Marquez sticking up for his brother and Marco Bezzecchi instead attacking Alex ("Either è blind or did not want to see").
Jorge Martin, Ducati Pramac centaur now leading the World Championship, exonerated Alex: "Difficult to judge, I obviously only saw it on video since I was in front of them. Alex Marquez could not have done anything else. If he had he would have done like Joe Roberts in Moto2 and crashed. È a race accident", are the words reported by Todocircuito.
Now Martin looks to Misano with confidence: "In Misano I already beat Pecco and Bezzecchi at home: last year I felt fast, I hope to take a step forward".
