Jorge Martin makes mea culpa

The rain at Misano played tricks on Jorge Martin. The MotoGP leader, in fact, chose to return to the pits to change the bike, but his decision turned out to be a gamble: the rain è lasted only a short time, forcing the Spaniard to return to the pits again to take the dry bike, causing him to slip to fifteenth position.

"È clear that è it was an error of strategy – admitted the Pramac centaur to the microphones of Sky Sport -. If I had been more clear about the weather conditions that would arrive after a few minutes I would not have stopped. I should also have waited for the choice of Bagnaia, since è my main opponent. This è for sure, I know".

"I came back in, tried to do the maximum and then I found myself behind a group that I could not pass because Ié would have taken a black flag – added 'Martinator' -. I put myself lì, I waited for the race to end and took a little point. Forò I am fast and if it had not rained I think I would have played it with Pecco".

"I should have talked about it more with the team, when you’re on a motorcycle è it’s hard to think. You think, but you think too much or badly. Maybe it was better to talk about it before the race to have everything clear. We lose a fight in the race but there è more in the world championship. In the end è important to be there until the end, I think that Pecco and I are still one step ahead" concluded Martin.
