Lots of emotions in the 20th day of Serie A1 Tigotà. Conegliano remains unbeaten (57 points), Scandicci (45) and Milan (44) stretch over Novara. Chieri, Bergamo and Busto Arsizio remain stationary while Vallefoglia rises to 29 points. In the salvation zone, Perugia and Cuneo reach 16, followed by Florence at 15 while Rome and Talmassons remain paired at 13.

After the nice win against Cuneo, a clear defeat for Smi Roma Volley on the field of Megabox Ond. Savio Vallefoglia, which took advantage of Pinerolo’s slip to increase the distance from ninth place. Virtually a one-sided match, with the hosts dominating the first (25-13) and third sets (25-14), too timid and late the reaction of the yellow-and-reds in the middle fraction, which closed 25-22 but with the green-and-whites always in control. It hurt former’Bici, who put up 23 points, 12 apiece for Weitzel and Lee, while only Orvosova finished in double figures for the Capitoline women.

A defeat that weighs double because the other teams embroiled in the salvation struggle don t sit idly by. Stoic the Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia, which in a game of heart and stubbornnessà overcame the’Igor Gorgonzola Novara in a tie-break that could remain in the history of this championship for the Umbrians. Becauseé after the initial 2-0, coach Bernardi s mosquitoes brought out all their quality to tie at 2-2, with Tolok, 23 points, Alsmeier, 17, but above all a super Bonifacio from 19 points on the shields. But just a step away from the knockout, on’11-14 in the short set, coach Giovi s team sublimates the excellent match by remounting with a wild Traballi (19 points with 4 walls, the last decisive one) and with Németh, top scorer with 27 points, for the 16-14 that gives the two points. Best in the field award going to Cekulaev, starring with 5 of the team s 16 walls for 14 total points.

Neither Il Bisonte Firenze and l’Honda Olivero Cuneo remain stationary, becauseé the tie-break with which the Cats expel Palazzo Wanny still allows both to gain points on Rome. A good match in the palasport of the Tuscan capital, with the hosts ahead 25-23 in the first game, then again 25-18 after the guests’ 1-1 tie (18-25), good later on not to pull the plug by earning the tie-break with a clear 16-25. Coming most charged to the short set was coach Pintus s team, which took the lead and closed 9-15. Both Malual and Kapralova score 21 points, for the Cats very well also the newcomer Dodson (16 points with 6 walls) and Bjelica (15), while for the Bisontine shines Baijens (19 points with 4 walls).

In the Playoff zone, è rounded the 0-3 with which Numia Vero Volley Milano tamed Eurotek Uyba Busto Arsizio and a’fiery E-Work Arena, packed in its 4500 seats. In the first part of the opening set, the Bustocca girls managed to limit the opponent attack, but then Paola Egonu came out, dominant with her 23 points with 3 aces and 3 walls, for a total contest and the inevitable MVP award. Coach Barbolini s team did not find during the course of the match the solutions to overturn the inertia and in the end the meneghine brought home three precious points.

Breathtaking match at the PalaFacchetti, where the hosts of Bergamo put Bergamo Bergamo put Savino Del Bene Scandicci in serious difficulty, which, however, came out at the distance with the result of 1-3. First fraction d’authority’for the orobiche, which lead on’1-0 with the score of 25-20, but comes the prompt response of the Tuscans who tie on’19-25. Endless the third fraction, coach Parisi s team squandered a four-point lead on 21-17 giving life to a very long head-to-head that ended only on 35-37 in favor of coach Gaspari s girls, the second longest set of the season after the 40-38 between Pinerolo and Milan on the first day. A mockery that could have extinguished Bergamo, which, on the contrary, plays evenly even the last partial surrendering only on 23-25. Scandicci’s wall did very well, with 18 winners, 6 from a super Antropova with 25 points, while Herbots stopped at 15. She did better than the blue opposing Cesé Montalvo, who scored 27, ahead of Piani with 16.

Finally, unrelenting is the path of Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, which puts its signature on another 3-0 win, this time against Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76. In the sold-out that by now no longer makes history at the Palaverde, there’s practically no game: the hillbillies stop at 18, 19 and 17, surrendering in little more than an hour to the Trevigiano overpower. Total the performance of Sarah Fahr, 14 points with 80% in attack and 5 walls, better than her on the scoreboard only Isabelle Haak with 18. For coach Bregoli the best è Gicquel with 14.
