No Italy for De Cuyper: AC Milan and Roma prepare plan B

The next destination for Maxim De Cuyper will not be a Serie A club: the Belgian side, in fact, has chosen to accept the offer of Brighton & Hove Albion, thus frustrating the ambitions of the two Italian suitors, AC Milan and Roma, who had identified in the 2000-born player the right profile for the role of low outside.
For both the Rossoneri and the Giallorossi, therefore, plan B will be triggered, and in this case, too, it is a common target: it is, in fact, Marc Pubill, a 2003-born defensive flanker who has been at Almeria for two seasons and boasts the Olympic gold medal won with the Spanish Five Circles selection in the Paris 2024 tournament.
According to ‘Sky Sport‘ reports, the two Italian clubs have reportedly begun pressing the Spanish club, to which the young player is linked by a contract expiring June 30, 2029. Therefore, an upward auction is possible, which would start from the basic value of the player, estimated at around 4 million euros.
In the meantime, Milan and Roma are also moving on other fronts, this time regarding uncommon targets: in fact, the Rossoneri would like to shore up the attack with a new name (Lorenzo Lucca of Udinese is rumored), while the Giallorossi have reportedly expressed interest in one of the protagonists of the World Club Championship, defender Wesley of Flamengo.
