Zaniolo will be redeemed: market auction kicks off, favored a top Serie A club

The future of Nicolò Zaniolo seems sealed: the Udinese star, owned by Galatasaray, will be bought back by the Friulian club at the end of the season, and will then be sold in the summer to the highest bidder in Serie A. The former Roma man has definitely relaunched himself in Udine, where he is having an important season and in the league has scored 5 goals and served 6 decisive assists for his teammates.
Udinese president Franco Soldati on Radio Kiss Kiss spoke about the player’s future: “We are working, let’s say that this thing will obviously happen at the end of the season, when the championship is over, because you know perfectly well that we before the end of the championship never move, so we are working obviously on the redemption.”
“He is a player that we evaluate very positively because of how he has fit in in Udine, in a very positive way, both from a personal point of view and from a football point of view, very professional. I think that after such a year Zaniolo will stay one more year in Udine. Because of what he has meant for Udinese and Zaniolo for us, so it will definitely be something we will evaluate but I don’t see it as so immediate.”
But sirens have been making themselves heard in recent days: in particular, Napoli would be the hottest track, with the coach Giovanni Manna wanting him in the battery of trequartisti available to Antonio Conte. Also on the player are AC Milan, which has been monitoring him in recent weeks, and Juventus: Luciano Spalletti holds him in high esteem.
Udinese will redeem the player for a sum close to 9.5 million euros, and only an offer above 18 million could convince the Bianconeri club to sell him.
