Aprilia Racing prepares for the fourth round of the season, the first European round, at the historic Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto. Marco Bezzecchi arrives in Spain with great confidence after the three consecutive victories in the long races and wants to confirm his excellent form also on the Andalusian track.

Jorge Martín, protagonist in Austin with the success in the sprint and the second place in the main race, races in front of the home crowd with the aim of strengthening the increasingly positive feeling with the RS-GP26. Rounding out the lineup will be Lorenzo Savadori, on track as a wild card and engaged in development work on the bike.

The Jerez circuit, dedicated to the Spanish rider who died in 2017, is one of the most popular on the calendar: 4,423 meters long, it has 13 corners, 8 of which are right-hand and 5 left-hand, and offers several favorable spots for overtaking.

“It’s good to be back for a race weekend,” Savadori admitted.

“We will have some new solutions to try during the weekend, with the goal of growing the RS-GP26. It will be important to gather as much information as possible, because the updates will then be brought to the bikes of the two factory riders in Monday’s testing.”
