The thirty-fourth day of the Premier League, spread out since last Tuesday to meet the calendar requirements of the FA Cup semifinalists, continues on Saturday with five matches scheduled: the first, at 1:30 p.m. Italian time, will be played at historic Craven Cottage, home of Fulham, which hosts an Aston Villa galvanized by its presence in the Champions zone and qualification for the Europa League semifinals.

Next comes three matches scheduled for 4 p.m: Liverpool, fresh from its late victory in the derby against Everton, faces a Crystal Palace that has nothing more to ask of the league and is exclusively focused on its Conference League commitments; Everton itself will be on the scene in London against West Ham, in a challenge important for both the Toffees’ European ambitions and the Hammers’ salvation ambitions; Tottenham, desperate for points to avoid a resounding relegation, will at the same time try to take advantage of the wretched season of Wolverhampton, already arithmetically in the Championship.

Closing Saturday’s program, at 6:30 p.m. Italian time, is the match between Arsenal and Newcastle: the Gunners, joined in first place in the standings by Manchester City, can make no more mistakes while the Magpies play to improve the disappointing 14th position in the standings, well below seasonal expectations. No game is played on Sunday, the day will close on Monday with the evening match between Manchester United and Brentford.
