Graziella Bragaglio praises Treviso’s motivation and asks way to Tortona and Sassari

At the microphones of Radio Bresciasette, Germani Brescia president Graziella Bragaglio returned to speak. “The team has plenty of time to think about the game lost on Sunday and especially to understand what were the hiccups that allowed Treviso to win. They know well what their merits and small flaws are, then it is normal to have a drop in energy, also from the mental point of view, against a team that had much stronger motivations.”
The situation, from the mathematical point of view, for Amedeo Della Valle and his teammates still leaves open both the possibility of first place and third place, although these are rather remote eventualities.: “We have to go to a difficult court like Tortona, where they will try to defend fifth place from Reggio Emilia’s attack, then we will close at home with Sassari, which might still have a chance of salvation. In any case, we have the destiny in our hands for the second place: it would be a new record for the club, an important gift for the ten consecutive years of staying in Serie A, which is really a lot,” added the top executive of the Lombard club.
A reading also confirmed by the words of captain Amedeo Della Valle, who after the loss to Treviso had lucidly analyzed Germani’s performance: “We knew the importance of the game, but what came out is that their motivation in the 40′ was the key and the reason for our defeat. We conceded too many baskets on our own turnovers: kudos to Treviso for the game they played, on a better energy level than ours.” ADV had, however, been keen to downplay the magnitude of the knockout: “In the second quarter we stopped having rhythm, conceding too many easy baskets. You can see it from the statistics. But it’s just a stop: it doesn’t change anything in our path.”
Germani’s next commitment will be on Sunday, May 3, on the court of Bertram Derthona Tortona, with the two-game ball set at 5 p.m. live on LBATV and Sky Sports channel 254. An away game far from easy, with the Piedmontese called to defend the fifth position in the standings from the comeback of Reggio Emilia, exactly as pointed out by Bragaglio herself.
