Marco Bezzecchi has one fixed thought ahead of Le Mans

After a weekend break following the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, MotoGp moves to France for one of the most eagerly awaited rounds of the European phase of MotoGP, the one at the Le Mans circuit. Leading the premier class standings is Marco Bezzecchi, fresh off a Sprint to forget but also an excellent second place in Sunday’s long race, won by Alex Marquez. To the official Aprilia channels, the Romagnolo confirmed that he has a fixed thought ahead of the French GP.
“I am very happy to race in Le Mans – explained ‘Bez’ -. It is a fantastic circuit and there are always many fans. There is a lot of desire to continue to do well, so we will try to have a good weekend. We’ll work with the team to be competitive all weekend and pick up a good result in the race.”
Last year, his first in Aprilia, Bezzecchi finished seventeenth in the Sprint, finishing fourteenth in Sunday’s race.
The goal is not only to do better but also to confirm his first position in the World Championship standings, which sees the 1998-born rider ahead of everyone with 101 points, followed by teammate Jorge Martin’s 90 and Fabio Di Giannantonio’s 71.
Bezzecchi will also aim to erase once and for all the difference in results between the Saturday and Sunday races: of the 101 total points, in fact, just 6 came from a Sprint Race, specifically the one in Brazil. The other points, however, came from the three Sunday victories in Thailand, Goiania and Texas, and the second place collected instead in Jerez.
