Lele Forever organized a parade of vintage cars and Vespas in Villasanta: what a treat!

On Saturday afternoon, despite the scorching heat, there was quite a spectacle just a few kilometers from the Monza Circuit. Credit goes to the Lele Forever association, which is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding this weekend. Credit also goes to a large group of enthusiasts of classic cars and vintage Vespas who willingly agreed to parade through the streets of Villasanta in their prized vehicles.

Leading the parade was the car once driven by Gabriele Brandazzi, the young man who lost his battle with leukemia in 1999 after fighting with tremendous courage—and who lends his name to the association: At the wheel was his father, Roberto, who—accompanied by his incredibly patient wife, Patrizia—put his son’s Peugeot through its paces with a series of Ayrton Senna-style accelerations, in honor of Lele’s idol.

The packed program for “Lele Forever – 25 Years Together” features activities for children, live music, entertainment, car shows, and a wide variety of food options. The food stand is satisfying every palate with hamburgers, sandwiches, the new addition of pizza, and traditional cakes. At the bar, in addition to beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, you can also enjoy Aperol Spritz and gin and tonic. Thanks to the shade structures installed in the festival area, you can stop for lunch even during the hottest part of the day. There’s also a special exhibition space dedicated to the association’s history, featuring photographs, testimonials, and materials chronicling its 25 years of activity.

In the small square next to Piazza Europa, a large area designed for children has been set up, open on Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons. Creative workshops, games organized in collaboration with the Villasanta Parents’ Association, and mini-golf courses are planned. Every evening, children can also have fun in front of the stage with Baby Dance.

On the artistic front, three evenings of live music are scheduled. Friday’s headliner was the legendary Vasco Rossi tribute band, Redio Vasco, which has been associated with the association since 2008. Saturday will feature Nuovanta, who will perform a show dedicated to the greatest hits of the 1990s and 2000s. The festival will close on Sunday evening with Azione Mutande and their energetic rock show.

Among the most anticipated events is the “Camminata in giallo – Together in Yellow,” scheduled for Sunday morning. This is a non-competitive five-kilometer walk open to everyone: families, sports groups, friends, and residents. The goal is to turn a simple walk into a great moment of sharing and solidarity.
