Milan is knocking on Torino’s door for Alessio Cacciamani. The winger, born in 2007—who was already on Roma’s radar—is now reportedly also a target for the Rossoneri, who are looking to bolster the pool of wingers available to Ruben Amorim. This is according to Toro.it.

It is said to be the Portuguese coach himself who has been pushing for the young Granata winger, whom he considers a good fit for the style of play he wants to implement at the Milan club. Cacciamani is admired for his performance in both phases of the game and for his potential, which still leaves plenty of room for improvement. Torino has already secured cover by signing Fortini, but president Urbano Cairo has no intention of offering a discount on his star player and has set a asking price of 20 million euros for him.

Unlike Roma, Milan has an additional card to play: Alphadjo Cissè, the attacking midfielder whom Torino has requested on loan in recent weeks. The two clubs are in contact and will determine in the coming days whether there is room for negotiations.

Torino’s former sporting director, Davide Vagnati, had already spoken enthusiastically about Cacciamani, suggesting in a recent interview with Sky Sport that the Giallorossi sign him: “Cacciamani is highly professional and exceptionally well-mannered, and that’s the foundation for future growth. He’d be perfect for Gasperini’s style of play; he reminds me a lot of Spinazzola.” Born in 2007 and a product of Torino’s youth academy, he spent last season on loan at Juve Stabia in Serie B, where he had an excellent campaign with 36 appearances, two goals, and four assists.

Cissé is certainly a player of interest to Torino. Milan had acquired him from Hellas Verona during the winter transfer window for a fee close to eight million euros, then sent him on loan to Catanzaro in Serie B, where he found playing time and consistency before being sidelined by an injury. After completing his rehabilitation, the player returned to the field in summer friendlies and is now in top form. The Rossoneri would reportedly be willing to let him go only on a straight loan without an option to buy, in line with their policy for managing young talent.
