Erling Haaland gives to charity by scoring goals
It certainly can’t be said that the Scandinavian bomber hasn’t made an effort
Forced, due to his Norway’s non-participation, to watch the World Cup from his couch at home, Erling Haaland is looking forward to getting back on the field and playing official matches with his Manchester City. The former Dortmund man’s extraordinary first part of the season – 23 goals in 18 official matches with the Citizens in all competitions – was more than enough to win the Champions League round, but not to grab the lead in the Premier League, where Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal still commands the lead.
While waiting to continue terrorizing opposing defenses all over Europe, the Scandinavian bomber took part in a charity match against Vivil IL, a team from Oslo that helps people with Down syndrome. A commendable initiative, taken with the utmost seriousness by the Norwegian striker who, as reported by BeFootball’s social account, scored 20 times, evidently beating his personal record for scoring in a single match.
