Athletics, the European Championships in Rome live on Sky and NOW

From Friday, June 7 to Wednesday, June 12, six days of live competition
The Italian Summer of the House of Sports comes into full swing. For six days, Rome will be the stage for the most important continental athletics event; from tomorrow, Friday, June 7, the European Athletics Championships “Rome 2024” will be live on Sky and streaming on NOW until Wednesday, June 12.
The Sky Sport team will bring to life the magical atmosphere of Rome’s Olympic Stadium throughout the course of the European Championships. The narration of the five morning sessions and six evening sessions, for a total of more than 50 hours of live commentary, will be entrusted to the voices of Nicola Roggero and Stefano Baldini. The reference channel will be; Sky Sport Uno, also streaming on NOW.
In addition, on Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, the live broadcast will double and, on a dedicated channel, it will be possible to follow in full the finals of men’s long jump, men’s shot put, men’s high jump and women’s long jump, with commentary by Pietro Nicolodi.
The Sky Sport studio inside the Olympic Stadium will serve as the opening and closing of each day, hosted by Alessandro Acton and with Federica Frola who will also conduct interviews in the mixed zone on the sidelines. Taking part in the studios will be Giovanni Bruno and athletes and technicians with distinguished competitive pasts including Laura Strati, Silvano Chesani, Lucilla Andreucci and Alessandro Nocera. In addition to the various updates and insights within Sky Sport 24, there will be two main appointments: the afternoon studio, at 5:15 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. live on Sky Sport 24 and NOW, will introduce the competitions of the evening session, while the 11:15 p.m. studio, live at the end of the day on Sky Sport Uno and NOW (Sunday 9 only on Sky Sport Arena), will host analysis, commentary and interviews with the protagonists.
