Jannik Sinner moves forward again with Carlos Alcaraz

Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz 6-2 3-6 6-3

Jannik Sinner came back ahead of Carlos Alcaraz in the first semifinal of Roland Garros. The South Tyrolean, in fact, made his third set 6 games to 3 and now è ahead 2 sets to 1 in the penultimate act of the Paris Slam.

Sinner got off to a strong start and broke Alcaraz on serve in the opening game. The Italian has no problem confirming the break lead and in the third game he doubles it. Jannik flies in an instant to 4-0. Here comes a timid reaction from Alcaraz who moves the score and recovers a break disadvantage, but a new stretch by Sinner is worth the first set, closed 6-2 

Also in the second set, Sinner gets the break in the opening game and confirms it, despite two double faults. In the fourth game, however, the South Tyrolean accused the first real break of the match and gave up the serve, before Alcaraz completed the comeback (3-2). The inertia of the challenge changed: the blue dropped in intensity and the Spaniard strung two more games (5-2), and called to serve for the set, closed 6-3.

Sinner continued to have problems on serve and Alcaraz also took advantage of this at the start of the third set, scratching the break in the third game. The Azure's reaction forò è was immediate: counter break and overtake (3-2) in a fifth game in which he had to cancel three break points and live with cramps in his right forearm. For the Spaniard, the break è prolonged: Sinner strung two more games in a row, and on 5-3 and serve, filed the third partial 6-3.
