Roma, Tammy Abraham toward a return to the Premier League
In three seasons at Roma, 37 goals in 119 appearances
Abraham's adventure with the Roma shirt è at the end of the line. The club seems determined to focus on other profiles (there is talk of strong interest in Morata) and, as a result, the time seems to have come for the 26-year-old English center forward to pack his bags and get back into the game elsewhere.
According to Talk Sport, Abraham would be one of the market targets of Tottenham, a club looking for a valuable striker to improve its offensive package. As is well known, Abraham has a notable past in the Premier League, having worn the Chelsea and Swansea shirts in the English top division.
In fact, there would be other English clubs on his trail, most notably Everton. A lot will depend on the offer that will be made to Roma, which would like to monetize as much as possible (at least 20 million euros) for the transfer of the center forward, also on the strength of a guaranteed contract for the 2024/25 season.
Complicated also by the injury he sustained on the final day of the 2022/23 season (rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee), the Englishman played very little over the past year: 12 appearances and only one goal. In total, in his three years with the Giallorossi jersey, he played 119 games, scoring 37 goals (27 in his first, excellent, season).
