Eurosport, kicking off a'summer full of cycling, golf and motorsports

There is a great summer of sports to be experienced on Eurosport – visible on discovery+, DAZN, TimVision and Prime Video Channels – starting with the Tour de France, cycling’s most anticipated event live in full from the start on Saturday, July 5, in Lille, to the final finish on Sunday, July 27, on the Champs-Élysées. A Tour that for the umpteenth time will pit the champions of the last five editions, Tadej Pogacar (3) and Jonas Vingegaard (2), against each other to conquer the yellow jersey, but that will also be able to speak Italian among the sprints of Jonathan Milan and the time trials of Filippo Ganna.
The Tour de France is the first major world sporting event that marks for Eurosport the strengthening of a distribution model that privileges streaming, in partnership with the main players in the Italian market – DAZN, TimVision and Prime Video Channels – in addition, of course, to its own ott discovery+ service and, in the future, HBO Max.
The Tour de France will be accompanied in the schedule by the Giro d’Italia Women, live from July 6 to 13, the Tour de France Femmes from July 26 to August 3, and from Saturday, August 23, by the exclusive Vuelta of Spain. The road races will then be joined by the spectacular World Series mountain-bike circuit.
Great PGA Tour golf also takes center stage in the summer, thanks to a busy August with FedEx St. Jude Championship, BMW Championship and TOUR Championship in quick succession.
Lots of space also dedicated to motors with the WEC championship dominated by Ferrari AF Corse – winner of all the events held so far, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans – the Speedway and Formula E to mark the stages of a summer full of excitement.
Fighting on the UFC Octagon continues after Topuria’s big return and Italian fighter Marvin Vettori will challenge Allen at UFC 318 on the night of July 19-20.
Tennis will then return to prominence on Eurosport in August with the brand new Legends Cup signed by Bjorn Borg and in September with the Laver Cup, the continents’ tournament between Team Europe and Team World – captained for the first time by Yannick Noah and Andre Agassi – live exclusively from San Francisco with Carlos Alcaraz and rising star of world tennis Joao Fonseca. Waiting of course for the season to start again with the first two Slams, exclusively on Eurosport, Australian Open and Roland-Garros.
