More red and white for former Olimpia Milano

According to reports by the always well-informed Hellenic basketball market expert Joannou Evangelos, Olympiacos is considering signing David McCormack, the former Alba Berlin and Olimpia Milano center, on a two-month contract with an option to retain him for the entire season.
If signed, McCormack would bolster the Piraeus club’s long division, joining Nikola Milutinov, Donta Hall and Kostas Antetokounmpo.
Having arrived in Milan from Galatasaray and making his full Euroleague debut, McCormack has found it difficult to adapt to coach Ettore Messina’s system, showing limitations in reading the game and in defensive positioning.
The initial enthusiasm, fueled by his imposing physique, quickly waned after some unconvincing performances, which led to a sharp reduction in minutes, until it was reduced to zero with the current-season signing of Freddie Gillespie and then resulted in his landing in the German capital.
