Jannik Sinner’s left-handed shot

Jannik Sinner posted on his social channels a video of a special training session in Cincinnati in which he enjoyed playing a kind of soccer-tennis.
One detail, however, did not go unnoticed: the world number 1, a right-hander with a racquet, is left-handed when it comes to hitting the ball with his feet, a fairly rare combination in the modern sports world.
There is no official evidence explaining why, but we can guess something from this bimanual choice: soccer is innate and often developed at a young age, cultivating natural predilections such as the dominant foot.
In tennis, he was able to choose to grip the racket with his right hand, perhaps for technical reasons, training, or availability of coaches and equipment. The result? A surprising balance between two different motor sensitivities.
