Juventus market, Sandro Tonali moves away: the former AC Milan player has made his decision

Juventus’s idea of bringing Sandro Tonali back to Italy now seems very close to having to fade. According to ‘Sky Sports Uk’ reports, in fact, the former AC Milan midfielder has reached an agreement to renew his contract with Newcastle, a club reached in the summer of 2023, one year after winning the Scudetto with the Rossoneri.
Tonali’s new contract will last, if the reports coming out of England are confirmed, until the end of the 2028-2029 season, with an option to remain with the Magpies for 12 months after that deadline as well. Thus, the possibility of seeing the class of 2000 midfielder back in Serie A seems to have faded for good, despite Juventus’s interest.
The Old Lady has repeatedly shown interest in the Azzurri player, trying to figure out the margins to baste a negotiation with the Premier League club Juventus. Tonali, however, despite the flattery, preferred to give continuity to the sporting project undertaken in 2023, albeit with a start postponed by a year due to the disqualification imposed on him by the FIGC and the FA.
With the Newcastle jersey, Sandro Tonali won the League Cup in 2024-2025, playing as a starter, from start to finish, in the very final played by the Magpies against Liverpool and won 2-1 thanks to goals by Burn and Isak (Chiesa’s goal for the Reds was useless). The midfielder is now also a cornerstone of the national team, with which he is chasing qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
