Paris Masters 1000: Bolelli and Vavassori ok, compliments come from Jannik Sinner

The adventure in the doubles tournament at the Paris Masters 1000 began in the best possible way for Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori: in fact, the two Italian champions easily passed the first round of the competition, beating in two sets the pair formed by Mexican Santiago Gonzalez and Dutch David Pel in the match played on Tuesday.

Commenting on the result to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport‘, Jannik Sinner also wanted to congratulate Bolelli and Vavassori: “I am very happy for them, they are very strong” said the outfielder from Sesto Pusteria, who will make his tournament debut on Wednesday against Belgian Zizou Bergs, in an unprecedented challenge.

Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori already know their next opponents on the concrete of Nanterre: they are the duo composed of Austria’s Alexander Erler and the U.S.&#8217s Robert Galloway, who defeated Argentina&#8217s Guido Andreozzi and France&#8217s Manuel Guinard in two sets, 6-3, 6-1. In addition to Bolelli and Vavassori, there&#8217s also another Italian who smiled in the doubles: he is Luciano Darderi, who along with Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo overcame Christian Harrison and Evan King, both Americans, with a double 6-4, advancing to the second round.
